Our next event will be Hunters & Gatherers – a taster of prime British produce
With Spring just around the corner and British produce enjoying a welcome resurgence, join 51 Degrees for a celebration of all things local and artisanal, farmed, found or foraged.
From ales brewed from home-grown hops in London’s East End, to foraged wild mushrooms from the woodlands of Kent, small British suppliers are making a comeback and ingredient provenance a key focus for chefs.
On 4th March, the finest local produce will take centre stage in our taster course menu with speciality wines and ales to match.
Situated directly beneath The Shard in London Bridge, the newly-opened Rooftop Café has a seasonal, straightforward approach to food and offers one of the best views in London. A joint venture between James Sellar, CEO of Sellar Design and Development, and Sam Aldenton, co-founder of Feast and The Long Table, the restaurant places an emphasis on sustainability and the wine list focuses on smaller, traditional growers who pay attention to the grapes and land on which they’re grown.
