Italian cuisine has a vibrancy few can match. Exceptional produce, effervescent flavours and a mix of contemporary and traditional cooking techniques lift the food to extraordinary heights. The weather probably helps a little bit, too.
While 51 Degrees cannot promise you sunshine on June 10th, we can promise a night of stunning, modern Italian gastronomy, rich in the flavours of gorgeous seasonal produce.
Join us for a succession of taster courses from a renowned guest chef and contributors, matched with the region’s fine wines and beverages, on what we hope will be a bellissimo evening.
// The Venue //
Situated directly beneath The Shard, the newly-opened Rooftop Café has a seasonal, straightforward approach to food and offers one of the best views in London. A joint venture between James Sellar, CEO of Sellar Design and Development, and Sam Aldenton, co-founder of Feast and The Long Table, the restaurant places an emphasis on sustainability and the wine list focuses on smaller, traditional growers who pay attention to the grapes and land on which they’re grown.
